So you finally decided to travel and, full of excitement, you get yourself a ticket… For some of us however, as we get closer to departure, we become aware of a small voice beginning to mutter uncertainties in our ear and the headache that is anxiety creeps in…
What am I going to eat? Is the food good there? Is it healthy? Is it even clean - do I avoid the salad? What if it causes me stomach problems? What about my diet restrictions – what if there’s nothing I can have?!
Nobody wants the stress of worrying about food on their travels, it could even be viewed as a big part of the adventure, so let’s talk about your options regarding food when you travel…

You will need to be open minded and form your own idea about that experience.

Look for festivals that focus on a particular ingredient or cuisine, or that are held in a unique setting. It’s always fascinating to combine local food and local music for full cultural flavour!
